Diabetes Training and Management Services (DTMS) was founded in 2009 by Haydn Sampson.

After graduating at Kings College, London in 1998, Haydn worked as a Staff Nurse in secondary care and moved to the community where he qualified as a Specialist Practitioner – District Nursing

In 2003, he joined Ashfield Healthcare as a Diabetes Nurse Advisor; training GP’s and practice nurses in the management of people with type 2 diabetes in primary care, as well as training practices in organising and running diabetes group clinics.

Haydn also worked in the pharmaceutical industry for Novo Nordisk where he worked closely with GP’s and PCT’s to develop clinical pathways for diabetes care.

Haydn currently works within the NHS as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse in primary care, and is highly experienced in managing people with diabetes and in delivering educational diabetes training courses. Haydn is also a qualified Nurse Independent/Supplementary Prescriber.
